FRANCHISE MEMBERSHIP In order to be eligible for year-end awards, contestant’s honorary dues shall be paid in full at the end of the 2nd full weekend in which a contestant participates in a Red River Little Britches rodeo.
PARTICIPATION In order to qualify for Red River Little Britches finals and year end awards, the contestant MUST…
- have a qualified time/score, in that event, in at least SIX (6) Red River Little Britches rodeos.
- participate in 70% of the Red River Little Britches rodeos.
- participate in the Red River Little Britches Finals. Contestant MUST be able to compete in the event(s) at the finals by physically riding the stock out of the chute and/or across the score line and through the pattern.
- provide a year-end award for each contestant in his/her age group.
- participate in mandatory award fundraiser(s)
PAYMENTS– Payments for Red River Little Britches entry fees, honorary dues, stalls
and RV hook-ups are only to be paid in CASH. NO CHECKS ACCEPTED.
A National Little Britches membership fee payment may be paid with a check, as long as the check is made payable to NLBRA.
ARENA – The arena will be closed from the time it is staked, or the end of the performance, until 8 a.m. unless otherwise opened.
During competition, if pattern is broken you must leave the arena immediately. There will be NO correction of pattern.
NO slack will be held.
NO ground money will be paid.
RODEO/SECRETARY OFFICE HOURS - The rodeo/secretary office will be closed from 2 hours before each performance until 1 hour after each performance. No payouts will be handed out until after the office re-opens after each performance.
VTO/MTO – In order for entry fees to be reimbursed, all Vet/Medical Turn Out paperwork (vet or Dr.’s notice of non-participation) must be submitted prior to the rodeo stock draws. In order to be eligible to resume participation, a Vet/Dr.’s release must be submitted with the contestant’s entry.
ENTRIES - All NLBRA members MUST enter online at www.nlbra.com. Non-members call-in on the deadline dates 11 days before the rodeo from 6 pm to 9 pm.
A contestant may draw out of rodeo any time before entry's close, once entry's close, a contestant must have Vet/Medical Turn Out paper work (Vet or Dr.’s notice of non-participation). If a VTO/MTO is not provided, the contestant will be liable for office fees and stock charges. Contestant will not be able to participate in future Red River Little Britches rodeos/events until the fees are paid and a Vet/Dr.’s release has been submitted to the rodeo secretary.
Should a contestant enter a Red River Little Britches Rodeo and is a no show at the rodeo, the contestant will be liable for office fees and stock charges. Contestant will not be able to participate in future Red River Little Britches rodeos/events until the fees are paid.
CONDUCT - Abuse of stock anywhere on the event grounds will result in automatic disqualification from that Red River Little Britches rodeo.
Contestants are responsible for themselves and their guests’ actions. Unfavorable actions from your guests can result in YOUR disqualification from that Red River Little Britches rodeo.
Use or possession of alcoholic beverages, illegal drugs, or any tobacco product by any contestant at any time is prohibited and will result in the immediate disqualification from that Red River Little Britches rodeo.
A fine, in the amount of $50, will be assessed for the first occurrence of those who do not pay for RV hook-ups and/or stalls. Once notified, contestant’s points will be withheld until all outstanding fees AND the fines are paid in full. A second occurrence will result in the disqualification of all NLBRA contestants in that family.
DRAW - It is the contestants responsibility to check his/her draw 1 hour prior to the start of each performance to ensure that no mistakes have been made and they are entered in the correct events. Once the performance has started, no corrections will be made to the draw.

Any situation not covered by Red River Little Britches Ground Rules will be governed by the current NLBRA rule book, then followed up by PRCA rule book.
